There are three new voting bonuses up today: An alternate version of today's strip, a sprite strip in which the rumormongers discuss Prentis and the shapeshifters, and another sprite strip in which Floyd is back on the station with the worst part of the shapeshifter situation coming up. Prentis may claim to be off duty in today's strip, but he's very much on duty in the sprite strip up as today's first bonus! (And you can see him again in today's second bonus, a bad translation of today's strip.)

Fun fact: Prentis was named after Prentis Hancock, who played Paul Morrow in the first season of Space:1999, as well as appearing in several Dr. Who episodes. (And other TV shows, though I'm not sure what else I might have seen him in, except maybe the episode of The New Avengers he was in.)

When I started updating in color every day in May 2005, I said the archives would be switching to color too "at some point." It's been a slow process, since I spend more time making new strips than going back and adding color to the old ones, but today is one of those points... May 2004 is now in color! If you haven't seen those strips before, today's a good day to read them... and if you *have* seen them before, today's a good day to read them again! :)

In other news - the Online Ceremony is up for the 2006 Webcartoonists' Choice Awards. While Station V3 didn't win anything, I did at least vote for the first time... Congratulations to the winners! (Some of whom I voted for!)

There are two new sprite strip bonuses today in which the shapeshifter story continues - in the first one, the shapeshifter problem appears to be over, but it's replaced with a new problem... In the second, the new problem appears to be over. (And guess what it's replaced with?)

If the out of gas alien is confused by the sign on the fragments of V3 in today's strip, he(?)'s probably not going to do any better with the badly translated version!

And in today's other bonus, Linton has finally put an end to the station's shapeshifter problems. Maybe.

It looks like the site server switch has completed - I checked the logs on the old server, and the only visitor there in the past day or two was a bot, so I think it's safe to assume everybody who visits today will be seeing the site on the new server with the current comic. (And this message!)

Station V3 moved to a different server over the weekend. Not because I'm switching hosting companies, but the hosting plan I was on is being phased out. It looks like everything switched over successfully, but some of you may still be seeing the site on the old server while the DNS change propagates, so you'll probably still be seeing Sunday's comic. And not seeing this message...

(And then you also might not know that today's bonus is a sprite strip with the shapeshifter, following on from this one that went up Saturday!)
